Which label covers a 25-pound or 30-pound child?

Twenty-five and thirty pounds fall within the printed 24–35 lb band on the two children’s liquids shown here. First match the medicine and concentration, then read its own full directions and age restrictions. A weight alone is not a prescription.

Children’s Motrin: ibuprofen 100 mg per 5 mL

The same weight band does not make the medicines interchangeable

These are different active ingredients with separate timing, limits and warnings. This comparison is not an alternating or combined-medicine schedule. It does not cover infant Motrin drops or chewable tablets.

What about 24, 26, 28, 32 or 35 pounds?

Those whole-pound values also lie within this printed weight band. The label’s age restrictions still apply. A child under 2 needs clinician guidance even if the weight is in this band. For a value between printed bands or an unclear age/weight match, do not interpolate or round up.
